Professor Brossillon-Rivera assigned her FREN-202 students a different type of mid-term exam. They were to write and illustrate their own short story. They were offered the possibility to choose to write a fairy tale for children, or a gothic/dramatic/funny short story.
They then used the free software “photostory” to put it together and narrate it. The projects were meant to be presented as a book, with an illustration and the text, accompanied by each student’s narration.
