Davis Lecture: “Loving Your Enemy”

Michael Young-Suk Oh, the global executive director and CEO of the Lausanne Movement, will deliver a talk titled “Loving Your Enemy” during Ursinus College’s biennial Davis Visiting Professorship of Judeo-Christian Values lecture on Monday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in Bomberger Hall.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Davis Visiting Professorship was established in 1988 through the generosity of Thomas G. and Nancy B. Davis, and is named in their honor.

The professorship enables the holder to examine Judeo-Christian values and embody them for the benefit of students and faculty, funding a visiting lecturer every other year.

Since 2004, Oh and his wife Pearl, along with their five children, have served as missionaries in Nagoya, Japan. He founded the Christ Bible Institute in 2004 and in 2006 served on the Younger Leaders Planning Team for the 2006 Lausanne Younger Leaders Gathering. In 2007, Oh joined the Lausanne Board of Directors as its youngest member. He has served as global executive director and CEO since March 2013. —By Ed Moorhouse
