CoSA-Farewell to Seniors and Honors Society Induction

The math and computer science department celebrates CoSA day!

This CoSA day the math and computer science department thanked the seniors for the hard work and honored the new honors society inductees. Students were induced to Kappa Mu Epsilon (KME), the national honor society of mathematics. These inductees received the cords for their graduation gowns. Students were also inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), the national honor society of computer science. UPE inductees received a certification and pin. These honors societies have strict GPA and course requirements. Students in these honors societies have established themselves as dedicated students.

This day we also honored dean April Edwards. April served as the head of the department for 14 years prior to becoming a dean in the Spring of 2016. April is leaving Ursinus and joining Elmhurst College as a dean this July. The department is sad to see her go but excited for her future.
