Sunday, May 14, 2017, the Ursinus College Class of 2017 Commencement Ceremony was held on the campus grounds, in front of the Berman Museum. The Health and Exercise Physiology department was proudly represented during the 2017 Ursinus College Commencement Ceremony by alum, students and faculty. Angela Upright ’17, a HEP was chosen by her classmates to speak at commencement, Angela reflected on the strong sense of community, self discovery and opportunities at Ursinus. Dan Mullen ’94, a proud Ursinus alumnus, delivered the commencement address and received the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters. Dan commented on the his time at Ursinus and the role it played in shaping his own life. Dr. Del Engstrom, professor and Chair, Health and Exercise Physiology was awarded The Laughlin Distinguished Teaching Award. Congratulations to all students and wishes for much deserved succcess in their future endeavors!
