Ellen Goldstein ’15 Obtains Gold at Maccabiah

Ellen Goldstein ’15, was a member of the United States Open Women’s Fastpitch softball team that received the Gold Medal at the Maccabiah Games in Jerusalem.

Ellen Goldstein ’15, recently took home Gold as a member of the United States Open Women’s Fastpitch softball team at the 20th Maccabiah Games.  In addition to the competition, Ellen participated in Israel Connect, a week-long educational and cultural program run by Maccabiah USA.  As a Health and Exercise Physiology (formerly, Exercise and Sport Science) department major, Ellen interests were in the teaching concentration and specifically, the challenges a Health and Physical Education teacher faces to keep the students engaged and interested in physical education so they adapt a healthy lifestyle and remain healthy and active throughout their life. While at Ursinus, Ellen was a member of Ursinus College Softball Team (team captain 2014-2015 season) and an active member of the Phi Epsilon Kappa Honor Society.  Congratulations go out to Ellen on her Gold!
