Bryanna Jones has been selected as a scholar for the competitive 2018 Society for Research on Adolescence (SRA) Undergraduate Scholars Program. Selected scholars attend the SRA Biennial Meeting and participate in special pre-conference activities that focus on careers in adolescent research, applying to graduate school and funding, curriculum vitae workshops, and navigating the Biennial Meeting. Scholars will receive mentorship from graduate students and senior scholars who are active in the field of adolescent research. Scholars also receive complimentary travel to the meeting, transportation, and hotel accommodations.
Bryanna’s Summer Fellows research - “The Lived Experiences of Black Students on Predominantly White Campuses: The Role of Special Interest Housing” - was also accepted for presentation at the conference.
