Plant Biology class digs into native plants

Students in Plant Biology (BIO/ENV-334) recently volunteered at the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy (PWC) greenhouse where PWC grows plants native to southeastern Pennsylvania.

Plants transplanted by Ursinus students will be sold at PWC’s annual native plant sale and used in conservation projects throughout our area. Professor Denise Finney coordinated the volunteer opportunity with Ursinus alumna and PWC conservationist Beth Myers (UC ’17).
