Accepting Applications for 2020 - 2021 Sustainability Fellows

The Ursinus College Office of Sustainability is now accepting student applications for 2020-2021 Sustainability Fellows. Fellowships will start in the fall 2020 semester and end at the conclusion of the spring 2021 semester. The Office of Sustainability will accept applications until 11:59pm on May 8th. To apply, click here.About the Sustainability Fellows Program: The Sustainability Fellows program is a leadership and professional development program supervised by the Office of Sustainability. Sustainability Fellows research, design, and/or implement outreach projects and communicate with the campus community about complex sustainability issues. This student mentoring program provides students with the opportunity to work on sustainability initiatives on campus within a professional setting. As stewards of the environment and within the community, the Sustainability Fellows develop communication and leadership skills. The 2020 -2021 fellowships include managing energy conservation competitions, promoting sustainable eating, and working on waste diversion strategies!
Benefits of being a Sustainability Fellow:
- 1 credit course for each semester (fall class will be Mondays at 3:30 to 4:20 and the spring class will be Mondays at 7:00 to 7:50pm)
- Small stipend
- Professional skill development (including: opportunities to participate in conferences and workshops, presentation and communication skills building, team-building experience, leadership training, project development, and project management)
