Donate Extra Dining Dollars to Charitable Causes

Students can donate up to $50 in unused dining dollars to Ursinus’s Bear2Bear Student Emergency Fund or the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry in Collegeville at the C-Store.

To make a donation to either fund,  visit the C-Store on the lower level of Wismer Center between Wednesday, May 2, and Friday, May 11. Students may donate to either fund in any amount up to a total of $50 directly at the C-Store.

The Bear2Bear Student Emergency Fund supports students facing temporary financial hardship as a result of an emergency or crisis situation. It provides special grants for students who have exhausted all other sources of funding and is supported through generous donations from members of the Ursinus community.

Daily Bread Community Food Pantry, located in Collegeville, aims to eliminate hunger in the Perkiomen area by providing residents in need with programs that provide food, promote the value of nutrition, increase self-sufficiency, and instill hope.

The initiative is being led by Roseangela Hartford ’18 through the Ursinus Center for Advocacy, Responsibility and Engagement (UCARE) and the Ursinus business office. UCARE serves as the hub for community engagement and social advocacy at Ursinus.

If you have any questions, please contact the business office at businessoffice@ursinus.edu.
