The Health and Exercise Physiology Journal Club enters its second year with new topics of scientific interest and discovery.

The HEP Journal Club officially kicked off its series for the 2018-19 academic year on September 26, 2018.  Designed to keep everyone aware of the pulse of research in society and in the department, the HEP Journal Club meets regularly throughout the year.  Dr. April Carpenter led the September meeting which focused on, “Macrophages: More Than Just “Big Eaters” Following Skeletal Muscle Injury.”  Journal Club gatherings aim to enhance student knowledge and discourse, as well as challenge students to reflect on the sources of knowledge.  The next HEP Journal Club meeting will be 11/7/18, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in Musser Auditorium, topic to be announced.
