HEP Students Visit the Mütter Museum

On November 26, 2018, Health and Exercise Physiology students taking HEP-360-A, Human Pathophysiology, visited the Mütter Museum with Assistant Professor April Carpenter.  Located in Philadelphia, and known as one of the finest museums of medical history, the Mütter Museum displays unique and well preserved collections of anatomical specimens, models, and medical instruments.  The Museum is dedicated to helping visitors understand the mysteries and beauty of the human body, as well as appreciate the history of diagnosis and treatment of disease.  Students viewed specimens while interacting with Dr. Carpenter regarding their direct observations. It was a very informative and enjoyable excursion.
