Stranger Things Escape Room in the Library

The Stranger Things escape room in the library provided a much needed stress reliever for students during this busy time of the semester.

Five groups of students and staff members participated in the Stranger Things escape room in the library on December 3 and 4. The game was based on the popular Netflix television series Stranger Things and included several nods to the TV show (see if you can spot them in the photos).

The premise of the game is that participants are trapped in the Upside Down, an alternate dimension that mirrors our human world, and race to find Eleven, a girl with special powers that can rescue them from the Upside Down before the Demogorgon monster catches them! They travel to the police station to search Chief Hopper’s office for the address of the cabin where Eleven is hiding out. Teams worked collaboratively to solve puzzles that included deciphering Morse code, examining police reports, and receiving messages from blinking Christmas lights.

Congratulations to Jennifer Kuklentz, Karen Pumo, Sarah Becker, Maddie Kuklentz, Nicole Kosar, and Ria Malones for being the fastest team to escape the room! All the teams beat the game in under 45 minutes but their team did it in 16 and 1/2 minutes!!
