A More Collaborative Ursinus With Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is an easy to use messaging platform for one to one or group communication.  Teams is also available via the web, desktop application, or mobile app making it the perfect solution to stay in touch from any device.

Do you need a simple way to communicate with Ursinus colleagues instead of email?  Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to text with Ursinus friends and coworkers from your phone or from the ease of your laptop?

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration tool (similar to Slack) that simplifies our communicating and sharing.  At the core of Teams is an easy to use messaging platform for one to one or group communication (think text messaging).  Individuals are easy to find and add thanks to Teams being integrated with our Ursinus College directory.  Teams is also available via the web, desktop application, or mobile app making it the perfect solution to stay in touch from any device.

Beyond the easy to use messaging, Teams also stays true to its name.  It provides a platform where it’s quick for teams to collaborate on notes, conduct virtual meetings, share screens, tasks, and share pictures and files.

Already Microsoft Teams has gained quick adoption within LIT and is starting to be used across the campus.  As more of the community begins using it, the more valuable it will become.  Try Microsoft Teams today at https://teams.microsoft.com.  More information on Teams is available on our Office 365 page and please reach out to LIT Tech Support if you have any questions.
