UC Students, Past and Present, Attend the Worm Conference

Members of the Lyczak lab, past and present recently attended the International C. elegans Conference in Los Angeles, California.

The conference brought together over 1500 researchers from around the world who all study C. elegans, a microscopic round worm. The students, Zoe Tesone (UC 2021), Caprice Eisele (UC 2020), and Andrew Belville (UC 2021), presented their research at a scientific poster session and attended talks on all types of research with this worm. The students also met a former Ursinus student and Lyczak lab member, Kate Power (UC class of 2015). Kate performed honors research in the Lyczak laboratory while at Ursinus and is currently a PhD student at Rutgers University where she continues to study C. elegans.
