New cohort of Melrose Fellows selected

11 new Melrose Fellows from the Class of 2022 were selected based on their demonstrated interest in global studies, commitment to service and civic engagement, academic achievement and leadership potential.

The Melrose Fellows program is designed for students with a demonstrated passion for global studies and civic engagement. Fellows commit themselves to interdisciplinary and experiential learning, including global service and study abroad. 2022 Fellows will enroll in a specially created course in the Spring 2020 semester in which they will reflect on power, privilege and ethical engagement with other peoples and cultures. 2022 Fellows will also learn more about Puerto Rico, where they will travel immediately after the semester to engage in community service and learning. During their junior year, Fellows will study abroad semester and as seniors, Fellows will plan and participate in events on campus to increase awareness of global issues and cultures.
