FREN-201 Students Practice French in Senegalese Restaurant
Practicing French in Philly Restaurant
On December 3, 2019, Dr. Grove, Dr. Brossilon, and French FLTA Léa Fougerolle accompanied students from FR 201 “Communiquer en français” to Kilimandjaro, a West African restaurant in West Philadelphia.
The evening, which consisted of ordering and conversation en français, complimented class discussions on Francophone accents, spontaneous speech, and power dynamics across the French-speaking world.
