Dr. Round and her research team publish their latest neurobiology research

Connor Loomis ’20 and Aliyah Stephens ’21 are co-first authors on a new publication in the January 2020 edition of Molecular & Cellular Neuroscience

The newest publication from the Round Lab identifies a novel protein interaction important for synapse formation in the developing brain. Distinguished Honors student Connor Loomis and SIE Scholar Aliyah Stephens, who have been working on the project for two years, put in hundreds of hours in the lab to help Dr. Round bring the paper to completion. The paper also features contributions from three Ursinus alumni: Remi Janicot ’18, Usman Baqai ’17, and Laura Drebushenko, ’14.
