E-resources are blossoming this spring!
Our e-resources are growing!
As part of a collaborative collections initiative with other member libraries of Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium, Inc. (PALCI), the following e-journals, e-books, and streaming video resources are now available for Ursinus faculty, students, and staff to use.
- Academic Video Online (Alexander Street Press) (AVON): Academic Video Online from Alexander Street Press consists of 68,00 titles of various formats, including: documentaries, field recordings, interviews, performances, news programs, commercials, and educational demonstrations. Subjects covered in Academic Video Online include: Anthropology, Business & Economics, Counseling, Diversity Studies, Education, Film Studies, History, and Performing Arts, amongst others. Access to Academic Video Online is available on Myrin Library’s Database A-Z list, as well as OneSearch.
- Oxford Scholarship Online EBooks: This e-book database from Oxford University Press has over 16,000 titles covering twenty subjects, mostly in the Arts and Humanities, and Social Sciences. Popular subjects in this database include: Philosophy, History, Religion, Literature, Law, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Classic, Music, Linguistics, and Management, as well as many others. Access to Oxford Scholarship Online EBooks is available on: Myrin Library’s Database A-Z list, the E-Resources A-Z Directory, and OneSearch.
- Sage Premier Journals: This collection of mostly social science e-journals from Sage number around 1,100, and back issues of about 600 of these e-journals going way back in time are also represented. Subjects covered include: Business Management, Sociology, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, Education, Criminology, Media and Communication Studies, Health Science, and Education. These journals are found on Myrin Library’s Database A-Z list, the E-Resources A-Z Directory, and OneSearch.
