During these uncertain and challenging times, we extend our wish for your good health and safety. While we took the prudent step of closing the Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College through June 3, 2020, the Museum’s mission continues and we are here to serve you as a virtual site of sanctuary and learning. Thanks to the commitment and dedication of the Museum’s great team, we are bringing to you the very best of our exhibitions and collections. We hope our offerings can serve as a place for inspiration and escape.
Our Museum Staff has evolved in this new year with the retirement of Director Charlie Stainback, and the addition of Art History Faculty Member Deborah Barkun, Ph.D., as Creative Director and the return of Lisa Tremper Hanover as the Interim Director of Operations. Our goal together is to continue the trajectory built by Charlie and position the Berman Museum of Art as a dynamic component of our living and learning environment.
As a vital resource to our Ursinus College academic community, we are providing several opportunities to access permanent collection images, posting excerpts from our Harry Bertoia and The Collection Speaks exhibitions, and creating an on-line Annual Student Exhibition 2020 experience. All of our digital platforms are accessible to you so please follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
We are grateful for your support and look forward to reaching out in new and dynamic ways!
Lisa Tremper Hanover, Interim Director of Operations
