Jacob Kang ’21 secures fellowship to research refugee policies

Jacob Kang ’21 won a Summer Fellowship to conduct research on refugee policies in Switzerland and the United States.

This summer, Jacob will be researching the experience of detained refugees in both Switzerland and the United States. He will address the social and racial inequities facing these vulnerable populations and consider improvements that can be made to current policies in order to increase respect for human rights and dignity. Jacob will continue his research in the coming academic year as an interdisciplinary honors project in French and International Relations.
