Ursinus faculty/student contribute to book chapter on transformative teaching.

Dr. Jennifer Stevenson and alumna, Nicole Dalasio ’20, recently published a chapter in a second volume of “How We Teach Now” that acts a resource for graduate students beginning their careers as teachers.

More specifically, this volume tackles how to become a transformative teacher. In their chapter, “From Awareness to Acceptance: Transformative Approaches to Teaching Neurodiversity,” Stevenson and Dalasio discuss how instructors can design an inclusive setting, assignments, and course topics to facilitate transformative learning experiences using a neurodiversity paradigm.
