The 2020 HEP Journal Club Series Kickoff

The Health and Exercise Physiology (HEP) Journal Club gatherings aim to enhance student knowledge and initiate meaningful discussions on a variety of topics in Health.

The Health and Exercise Physiology Department invited Dr. Skye Donovan, the Director of the School of Health Sciences of Marymount University, to present the initial event of the 2020 HEP Journal Club series.  Dr. Skye Donovan, a member of the UC class of 1995, presented “When the Pandemic Wanes, projections for careers in health and exercise science”. In addition, Dr. Donovan shared the story of her journey and experiences from being a Ursinus student onto her professional studies and current work. Students were able to hear her perspective regarding future possibilities in health and opportunities to enhance professional work. A special note of thanks to Dr. Donovan for her time and for sharing her inspirational thoughts, experiences and perspectives with our students!
