Ursinus Recognized by Peers for Advancement and Marketing Communications

Out of more than 300 entries submitted for the 2021 CASE District II Awards, Ursinus College has earned high honors in an impressive five categories, affirming the creative energy and truly collaborative spirit demonstrated by the advancement, enrollment, and marketing and communications teams.

CASE is the professional association representing those who work in advancement and marketing communications. District II is the largest of CASE’s national regions and includes the entire Mid-Atlantic area, as well as institutions in Ontario, Canada.

Per CASE judges, the creativity and innovativeness displayed in the projects below will “serve as inspiration for countless others in the months and years ahead.” Ursinus won the following honors:

  • GOLD in the “Special Events, Single Day” category for Ben Franklin Day (Abele Scholars Gift Announcement). The judges said, “This event made us wistful for in-person gatherings and the fun we would have doing community events. Not only was it a celebration of the donors, it was a celebration of the community. The organizers for this event really, yet tastefully, leaned into the theme…”

  • SILVER in the “Special Events, Multi-Day” category for the Ursinus College Sesquicentennial Celebration.

  • SILVER in the “Digital Communications, Websites (Institutional)” category for the Ursinus Website Redesign.

  • SILVER in the “Communications, Student Recruitment on a Shoestring” category for the 2020 Ursinus Admitted Students Experience (ASE).

  • BRONZE in the “Publications, Student Recruitment - Publications Packages” category for the 2020 Ursinus Admission Suite of Materials.
