Ursinus Named a Top College by Princeton Review

Once again, The Princeton Review has ranked Ursinus College as one of the nation’s top four-year colleges.

The 30th edition of the annual guide, The Best 387 Colleges: 2022 Edition, features only about 14 percent of America’s four-year colleges. The list, which is alphabetical and not hierarchical, is based in part on surveys from 154,000 students nationwide. In the 2022 Best Colleges: Region by Region web feature, Ursinus was named to the list of Best Northeastern, which includes 223 schools that are considered “academically outstanding.”

“Ursinus College has done a remarkable job of building a ‘close-knit community’ dedicated to helping students succeed with strong academics and ‘plenty of opportunities for leadership involvement through clubs, student jobs, and internships,’” states the publication.

Student respondents rave about the liberal arts curriculum, the supportive faculty, small class sizes, and the “tremendous focus on research.”

In terms of campus life, “there’s never a dull moment” at Ursinus, and students describe their peers as people who “are always smiling” and “very welcoming.”

Since 1992, the annual “Best Colleges” guide has showcased the schools that the Princeton Review recommends to college applicants and their parents as the nation’s best for undergraduate academics.
