Ursinus Staff and Students Set Sail in a Library Escape Room

On September 13 and 14, Ursinus staff and students participated in a cruise ship escape room in the library.

In the escape room, participants put their detective hats on to identify a thief onboard and find the stolen items before the thief could escape the ship.

The escape room was challenging, posing multiple puzzles that needed to be solved in under 45 minutes. Congratulations to Diane Skorina’s first-year advising cohort (Reek Mitchell, Pat Esemplare, Jack Shimer, Emily Collins, Isabella Scarpetti, Stephanie Diaz, and Tehya Harvey), who escaped the room the quickest with just 2 minutes to spare!

If you are a faculty or staff member interested in hosting an escape room for your class or department, please contact Christine Iannicelli (ciannicelli@ursinus.edu).
