Student Internship Presentations : Summer 2021

Over the course of two days students got a chance to share the work they did during their internships this past summer.

This past Tuesday and Friday Ursinus students got a chance to present the work they did while participating in internships from the summer of 2021. A wide variety of posters were displayed in the IDC’s Atrium. On the page are snapshots of just a few of our students posters. Jessica Rogers, class of 2023, is pictured with her poster on the page. Her time with the Skippack Pharmacy began with volunteering to hand out Covid-19 vaccinations. Jessica shared that “93% of Americans live within 5 miles of a pharmacy, so they are easily accessible and they provide a number of services that help people through the pandemic.” Working with this organization has led Jessica to switch her career path that was originally pre-med to pre-pharmacy. “[She] got to see the huge impact that a pharmacist has on their community” and from this internship Jessica has grown herself. Many life changing moments can come from internships and Ursinus students take full advantage of those opportunities to learn from their community.
