Community Conference
This year’s Annual Community Conference is being held on Wednesday, March 2 in the Fieldhouse and is open to faculty, staff, and students. Select parents and alumni, as well as Board of Trustee members, will be joining virtually as well. This is a community-wide event, and all are invited since the topic this year is pertinent to each of us individually and as a collective: Wellbeing: Yours, Mine, and Ours.
We hope you will join us for the entire program, which runs from 9am-1pm, but it is designed to allow faculty, staff, and students to take part as their class schedules permit. Of course, you are welcome to bring your entire class to this event too! The schedule includes:
- 830am-9am: Continental Breakfast and time to connect as a community
- 9am-10am: Welcome by President Marsteller followed by keynote speaker from Minding Your Mind: a personal story of hope and healing
- 10am-11am: Data-Driven Strategies for Holistic Health followed by a community discernment activity focused on improving the health of campus
- 11am-12pm: Dimensions of Wellbeing presentations followed by time to set personal and professional wellness goals
- Dr. Lynn Edwards, Laura Moliken, Ashling Suppan, and Serena Rose Gaskin will be sharing their experiences and strategies for one of the dimensions of wellbeing
- 12pm-1pm: Lunch for faculty/staff including staff awards and a raffle give-away
Registration is required for logistical and planning purposes. For more information and to register for the conference: https://www.ursinus.edu/calendar/view/event/date/20220302/event_id/23572
