HEP Journal Club Is Back!

The HEP Journal Club continues to offer presentations for discussion on current health topics and variety of research by meeting regularly throughout the academic year. The speakers for the March 3, 2022 meeting were Assistant Professor and REPS Lab Director, Dr. Kyle Beyer, and UC Lecturer, Michelle Vandeberg.  The talk titled, “Return to Play”, focused on safety guidelines for athletes to consider when returning to play after Covid to alleviate potential injury and why.

Journal Club gatherings aim to enhance student knowledge and discourse, as well as challenge students to reflect on the sources of knowledge. The next HEP Journal Club meeting will be 3/16/22 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in Musser Auditorium.  The topic will be, “Healthy Lifestyles - Risk Factors and Research Other than Vaccinations”.
