The Resistance Exercise, Physiology, & Sport (REPS) laboratory investigates human physiology and performance during exercise and sport.
by Christine Angermeier
The Resistance Exercise, Physiology, & Sport (REPS) laboratory has joined a growing portfolio of Health and Exercise Physiology Department (HEP) research laboratory facilities which allow HEP to offer various research opportunities to students.
Dr. Kyle Beyer, the Director of The Resistance Exercise, Physiology, & Sport (REPS) lab, is interested in research and investigation of human physiology and performance during exercise and sport. The REPS lab completes research projects related to the physiological adaptations to strength and conditioning programs and competitive sport, the evaluation of emerging technologies in fitness assessment, and the role of maturity in youth exercise and sport performance. Students are enjoying the opportunity to become involved with a number of on-going research projects. Please contact Dr. Kyle Beyer, at kbeyer@ursinus.edu if you are interested in finding out more about the REPS lab research and/or participating in the lab research projects.
