HEP Journal Club Opens Discussion on Long Covid-19

The Health and Exercise Physiology Department Journal Club concluded the 2022 Spring Semester series with a presentation titled, “Implications of Long-Covid and College Student Thriving”.  The Journal Club gatherings, which address many current health issues and research, will return in Fall 2022.

The Health and Exercise Physiology (HEP) Journal Club Series concluded its final gathering for the Spring 2022 semester with a presentation titled, “Implications of Long- Covid and College Student Thriving”.  Presenters included HEP Visiting Professors, Dr. Nicole Ivaska and Dr. Kelsy Espy, and UC student, Laura Rothschild. The presentation and subsequent discussion focused on Long Covid characterization, risk factors and management.

Journal Club gatherings aim to enhance student knowledge and discourse, as well as challenge students to reflect on various sources of knowledge. The Health and Exercise Physiology Department will resume the Journal Club gatherings in Fall 2022.
