There’s No Place Like Home: Susan Lawrence ’83

Susan Lawrence ’83

When I first started at Ursinus, I was very nervous about starting life on my own. After I found my place in the psychology department, Ursinus became my second home. I made connections not only with students, but with my professors, too. Thirty years later, I reached out to the amazing Dr. Chambliss, who not only remembered me, but was instrumental in helping me get the chance to teach at UC. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to return to the same place–Thomas, 3rd floor—to teach new students who are now in the shoes I filled many years ago. This spring will be the 40th anniversary of my Ursinus graduation. I am so glad to still be a part of the campus community!
