Health and Exercise Physiology Honor Society Students Conduct Health Assessments at UC Wellness Fair

Health and Exercise Physiology students who are members of the Phi Epsilon Kappa (PEK) Honor Society recently conducted a series of health assessment tests on UC Community attendees at the annual UC Wellness Fair.

Health and Exercise Physiology students who are members of the Phi Epsilon Kappa (PEK) Honor Society recently sponsored and staffed a health testing table at the UC Wellness Fair. The students provided service to the UC community by utilizing their skills and knowledge in conducting a series of health assessment tests.  The range of tests available to participants included blood pressure, body mass index, strength and cardio fitness. In addition, test participants received a health card to keep as a record for future reference. Health and Exercise faculty, Dr. Nicole Ivaska and Dr. Steve Kolwicz were on-site as mentors during the event.

A special thank you to Phi Epsilon Kappa members, Marco Grenda, Jordan Moore, Joshua Odebode, Morgan Raley and Laura Rothschild for contributing to the health of the Ursinus Community!
