2023 DICE Awards Presented

The Division of Inclusion and Community Engagement presented the 
2023 DICE Awards.

Maia Peele ’23, Serena Rose Gaskin ’23, Jordan Scharaga ’17, Giovanna Steyaert, Steve Gehringer, Nicole Snodgrass, and Cathy Kernen were honored at the DICE Awards ceremony on Wednesday, March 15. The event took place in the Berman Museum and brought together the new Sycamore Awards for Community Engagement and the Inclusion and Equity Awards established in 2020.

The 2023 recipients of the Inclusion and Equity Awards are:

Serena Rose Gaskin ’23, (Psychology)
Jordan Scharaga ’17, Director, Office of Protocol and Special Events
Nicole Snodgrass, Choral Director, Voices of Ursinus

The Ursinus Sycamore Community Engagement Award was established this year to recognize members of the Ursinus community or the surrounding community who display outstanding contributions to furthering the missions of the Division of Inclusion and Community Engagement and Ursinus College. As stated in the mission statement for the Division of Inclusion and Community Engagement.

The recipients of the 2023 Sycamore Community Engagement Awards are:

Maia Peele ’23, (Anthropology, Sociology)
Steve Gehringer, Director of Facilities
Giovanna Steyaert, Visiting Assistant Professor, Modern Languages
Catherine Kernen, President, Collegeville Borough Council
