First Place Award in Biosynthetic Chemistry
Paige won the “First Place Award in Biosynthetic Chemistry” at the 86th Intercollegiate Student Chemists Convention at Lebanon Valley College. This is a regional meeting that gives undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry students the opportunity to present their research to student peers and faculty judges. Paige gave a 12-minute oral presentation at the convention in the Biosynthetic Chemistry division. Her talk focused on her honors research project which uses click chemistry to make DNA-modified Janus dendrimers for drug delivery applications. She received this award as recognition of excellence in her undergraduate research.
