Honors Research at American Heart Association Conference

Biology Major Luca Walborn (Class of 2023) presented her Honors Research Project at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions meeting on November 12, 2023. 

Her abstract, The Ketogenic Diet Aggravates the Ischemic Response in Mouse Hearts, was published in the AHA Journal, Circulation. Linked here.

Luca’s research was done under the guidance of Health & Exercise Physiology Professor, Dr. Stephen Kolwicz, and was co-authored by Ursinus Students from the Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and Health & Exercise Physiology Departments.
