BearShare by the Numbers
The numbers are in for BearShare’s first semester! We’ve engaged hundreds of members of our campus community in this free thrift store, and recirculated hundreds of pounds of clothing, books, and household items. It turns out that our Bears love to share.
On November 30, 2023 we hosted our final BearShare pop-up market of the fall semester. Let’s take a look back at how we did in Fall 2023, by the numbers.
People
430 people attended a BearShare pop-up event.
24 people volunteered at BearShare.
Over 150 people took an item from BearShare.
Stuff
BearShare received 197.05 pounds of donations.
We redistributed 259.9 pounds of items to our campus community.
We redistributed 10 books, 290 items of clothing, and 58 household/dorm supplies.

BearShare will be hibernating until our next pop-up event in February 2024. We hope you’ll volunteer, donate, and shop with us then! Together we’re building a more circular economy on campus.
