Christy Barilotti ’01 was named to Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2015 list of up-and-coming business leaders.

Business and Economics graduate Christy Barilotti ’01, CEO of Barilotti Wealth Strategies, was named to the Philadelphia Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list for 2015. The list recognizes business leaders under the age of 40 who have demonstrated business success, community involvement, leadership ability and influence.

According to the Business Journal, “many honorees in PBJ’s 2015 ‘?40 Under 40’ class will spend at least another 25 years on the job, building their practices, companies and careers to even loftier heights. And their current resumes are already scraping the sky.”

Barilotti’s wealth management business has grown by 50 percent over the last five years, and she attributes her success to her mentoring of new advises. Their success and growth is a “win-win” situation. In addition to her devotion to work, she is committed to her community. She is active with the non-profit Labs with a Heart, which supports the rescue of abused animals, and the Liguori Academy, which educates under-served, high-risk high school students.
