What I enjoyed about my Ursinus Experience
There are no words to explain my experience at Ursinus College. I am so thankful that I got to spend four years on a campus where it isn’t uncommon to have dinner at your Professor’s house or talk to your President while in the cafeteria. The tight-knit community feel which is embedded in the Ursinus culture, makes graduating Ursinus hard, but over the four years Ursinus has taught me more than what I need to succeed and has made me into a better person. The health and wellness research opportunities that I have gotten to assist in while at Ursinus are opportunities I know I might not have gotten at a larger school and it is because of these opportunities that I know where I want to head after graduation.
Who I met at Ursinus that made a Difference
Over the past four years, my advisor, Dr. Laura Borsdorf has made a huge difference in my Ursinus experience. If it wasn’t for her and the other professors in the department I wouldn’t have found my passion for public health and wellness. The relationship I have built with her through advising and our research is a relationship I am forever grateful for.
