Ann Marie V. Schilling

Ann Marie brings experience as a professional software engineer and years of teaching to Ursinus. A programmer since her dad hooked up a TI99/4a to the family television, she has applied her expertise to the aerospace, finance, and banking industries. Ann Marie has also taught  graduate Computer Science at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa.

Her classroom philosophy combines her industry experience, her unassuming sense of humor, and her desire to bring a love of Mathematics and Computer Science to all.  A graduate of a liberal arts school, she inserts “liberal arts moments” into all of her classes and emphasizes the value of this type of education.

Off campus, you can find Ann Marie spending time with her family, volunteering at various charities, reading science fiction/fantasy, listening to very loud music, or puttering in her garden or craft room.
