Christopher Corish

Chris is part of the Major and Planned Gifts team dedicated to building relationships with alumni, parents and friends of the College and advancing the Ursinus mission by aligning the philanthropic interests of donors with institutional priorities.

Background

Christopher Corish is Director of Gift Planning for Ursinus College. With over 20 years in advancement – 15 of those years in higher education – Chris seeks to connect the philanthropic goals of a potential donor to the mission of the institution.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Chris graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1986 with a BS in Computer Science and a commission in the U.S. Navy. Chris completed flight training and was designated a Naval Aviator in 1987. He served our nation as a Naval Aviator until 1990 and as a policy analyst until 1993.

After leaving the Navy, Chris worked in the field of information technology systems management, while earning his MBA from the George Mason University School of Business in 1996. After a few years in the equity analysis and research industry and a short stint in technology sales, he commenced his advancement career in the spring of 2001.

Chris, his wife Mary, and their two sons live in Chester County. Also, Chris’ sister, Julie (Corish) Daly is a UC alumna (BA ’89).

Chris’s interests include baseball, independent and classical music, cooking, and exploring regional history.
