Service Learning in Guatemala

Thank you for your generosity. As of Friday, April 15, the Ursinus College Service-Learning team has exceeded their goal with $560 for their Guatemala experience.

How You Can Help

Please consider making a gift to SUN or the GSA, our other student groups still working hard to reach their goal of $500!

More than study abroad—this is a unique opportunity for two UC students to learn a language and provide community service in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala this May. The students, Anna Crowder and Stephanie Donahue, will be volunteering in a nursing home and orphanage.

Stephanie will be volunteering in a nursing home, providing aid and companionship for senior citizens. Anna will be working in an orphanage, providing care and running activities for children. Both the nursing home and the orphanage are in dire need of supplies. Thanks to the support of our generous alumni, Stephanie and Anna will be able to bring critical supplies such as library books and personal hygiene products to their service locations.
