How I Stay Involved
My advice for future students is to reach out to your professors about your interests to find possible research opportunities on campus. The professors are all extremely nice and willing to help. Even if the professor is not doing research within a particular field of interest, they will be more than willing to point you in the right direction of another professor on campus that may be conducting research that better suits your interests.
My Experience
I became a HEP major because the major combines many of my interests. As an athlete on the lacrosse field and as an academic, I have grown a passion for the sciences, for sports, and for the human anatomy and physiology. The HEP major has courses relating to each of these subjects, and the best part is that the knowledge from each course complements the other courses. As an aspiring medical school student with an interest in concentrating on orthopedics, I think this major offers up the most stimulating classes for my personal interests.
Life After Ursinus
I aspire to go to medical school student with an interest in concentrating on orthopedics
