In the Fall of 2016 I took Dr. Keita’s Memoirs in Philadelphia class, continued service work with Bonner, took Philly 101, studied Spanish at Drexel, and completed an internship at the Food Trust. 

At the Food Trust I supported the team’s multiple advocacy campaigns and financing programs across the country that encourage supermarket investment and improving access to affordable, nutritious food in underserved communities.

Through the Philly Experience, I feel that I gained job experience and so many practical skills, as well as a chance to experience Philadelphia in a new way.
