Susan Winters Griste ’95

Susan Winters-Griste, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She graduated from Ursinus College in 1995 earning a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Psychology.  She has fond memories of working with Dr. Catherine Chambliss while she participated in a semester of research under her direction her senior year.  In addition, Susan participated in the Literacy Program for those in Graterford Prison under the advisement of Dr. England. While at Ursinus, she also served as Resident Assistant her junior and senior years.  Susan also was a member of the sorority Kappa Delta Kappa.  After graduating from Ursinus, Susan attended Hahnemann University and completed her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1998. She has over 15 years of experience as a clinician working with individuals, couples and families with a focus on the “systemic theory model”.  She founded and is owner of Well-Mind Therapy, LLC located in Valley Forge, PA.  She is a Clinical Fellow of AAMFT and served on the PA Board of Directors for AAMFT as Chester County Regional Director from 2012 - 2015.

In Spring of this year(2016),  Susan launched her first book titled, “Take Aways:  A Little Book of Reflections”.
