Heather Holiday

Heather Holiday is a shoemaker and fine leather goods maker who has a love of old-world trade and techniques. Her company, Mason Dixon Made launched in 2015 and has received national media attention through being a finalist in the Martha Stewart American Made Contest and is currently nominated as one of USA Today’s Top American Makers for Children and Families. Her company also received the honor of being named Best in Philly.

As the company’s sole designer and maker (no pun intended), Heather is learning how to juggle all aspects of the business and is in the process of expanding her team of one. Being an entrepreneur has taught Heather so much about marketing, production and sales but above all it has given her, for the first time in her life, self-confidence and pride in herself. For the first time, she feels empowered to be who she is and she looks forward to sharing and helping others feel that so they can be successful in their ventures.

Heather received her B.A. in Art and Theatre from Washington College in MD, and completed work towards her M.F.A. at Parsons The New School for Design. She lives in Fishtown with her husband and two young children.
