Julin Everett

Julin Everett is an Assistant Professor of French at Ursinus, and teaches language, literature and francophone cultures. She specializes in Postcolonial Francophone Studies, and Gender, Race and Sexuality Studies. She is interested in visual culture and modes of self-representation. Dr. Everett began researching portraits of Jews wearing the yellow star during her doctoral studies at UCLA. She is the author of the forthcoming book Le Queer Impérial: Male Homoerotic Desire in Francophone Colonial and Postcolonial Literature (Brill).
