2. Simone Grynberg Finifter and Friend

Simone (Syma) Grynberg Finifter on the right and her unidentified friend (l) lived in the Parisian region of Occupied France. Their portrait, taken on June 5, 1942, bears an inscription to Finifter’s daughter Rachel: “From your mother, who suffers greatly”.
