Michael Thompkins

Michael (pronouns: he, him, his) joined the Residence Life Office at Ursinus in July 2019. He serves as the Assistant Director for the Main Street Village where he supervises the Resident Advisor staff, facilitates educational opportunities, and provides various methods of support for residents. Michael plays a key role in the student conduct process, housing selection, and the on-call crisis response team. For the 2022-2023 academic year, Michael is also serving as Jewish Life Coordinator in Religious & Spiritual Life.

Michael is originally from South Jersey and grew up coming to Pennsylvania for trips and family gatherings. Here at Ursinus, he lives on campus at the College and enjoys being a part of the Collegeville community. In his free time, Michael loves to do anything related to music/performance, working out at the gym (especially kickboxing), eating in Wismer, and traveling to new places.


Prior to joining Ursinus, Michael served as a Residence Director at Johns Hopkins University and an Assistant Residence Hall Director at the University of Connecticut.
