Connor Loomis

Biology major with an educational studies minor and PA teacher certification in biology 7-12

I am an Ursinus College Ambassador and am serving as a Team Leader for 2019-2020. I also actively research in the lab of Dr. Jennifer Round in the biology department and neuroscience program and am pursuing departmental honors. I have also served as a FUTURE mentor during Summer Fellows 2018 and have been the Co-Curricular Peer Leader for the biology department as well. This summer I attended Cornell University’s MBG REU program, where I conducted research and was mentored by graduate students and other science professionals.

TLI Senior Student Consultant

My Experience

I chose to become a TLI Student Consultant because I wanted to learn more about the education process as well as the student/teacher dynamic. I am excited to observe and learn from other educators in order to hopefully make myself a successful one in the future. I want to one day be a biology teacher. I am super excited to work with the TLI Directors and my fellow consultants to make this a great year!
