Music and Biology

How I Stay Involved

I am apart of the Bearitones on campus as well as the Meistersingers. I have been working on a concept E.P., and with some luck and a few pieces or recording equipment I will have it finished by in September 2017. I Host 4 boys of the American Boychoir currently and often come back to sing in their annual Christmas concert and, on one occasion, got to present awards to the graduating eighth graders. I play the piano ever so slightly and write my own lyrics and back to songs for friends and for myself.

My Experience

I have toured in over 40 of the 50 states during middle school with the American Boychoir. I have fortunate enough to be a part of many orchestral performances in locations such as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer Hall, The Kimmel center and Tanglewood in addition to other venues. These performances ranged from Mahler’s 3 symphony to Benjamin Britten’s War requiem and Randell Thompson’s Alleluia. In high school I then competed in choral competition, for example the one held at Hershey Park and one in Boston. Also appearing in a few musicals for school in Aida, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, 9 to 5, Hairspray and the Drowsy Chaperone.

Life After Ursinus

I hope to graduate Ursinus and explore the world outside of the U.S. to provide me with some new insight and ways to enhance my music as well as expanding my view of the world. I would like to be a singer/ song writer or a composer if I can hone my skills and make music that has a meaning to a broader audience then myself. Telling the stories that are too often overlooked. I am also hoping to one day become either a PT or chiropractor.
